They are called angels and they were inspired by christian angels. 
On some random school lesson i drew a usual random creature that evolved into these species, received a story and purpose and that's it. 
They just reflect my viewpoint on this religion and this religion's followers. Of course that doesn't show in their appearance but in their culture and purpose in their world.
I don't have favorite 3D artists, i just LOVE IT ALL.

I haven't seen it but I read all of the books a few years ago ^^ I'm aiming to study Animation at (I HOPEEEEE!) SCAD :3 but that's almost too far fetched, sadly. But, in my opinion, I loved the animation in How To Train Your Dragon, especially Toothless and his cat-likeness And then there's Avatar and it's prettiness (But I hear the plot sucked but I was too captivated by the detailed animation xD)

Actually there's not much hype around my angel species, i won a contest with them on Valenth (i integrated the species into that world for the contest which was a fun and inspiring experiment) and was asked to work with someone on a similar fantasy world but that's all.
...Ok, not "that's all", that's quite a lot considering where else could i be with my art in a worse scenario.
Oh well i'm rather motivated towards computer game development/design/concept/everything than animation. But if it's an animation in a game then i'm in. lol

Really? That's kinda of saddening. Personally, they're at least in the top three of my favorite made-up species list (it's not an established list, persay, but IT'S THERE SOMEWHERE XD) and no I'm not just saying that to get you to like me ^.^ I think that the species is very original despite its origins, if you know what I mean? Like... a lot of people like to do winged things that look like angels and call it some weird bunch of letters aranged in a word?
well, if anything, your art could take you far ^^ Like, since you wanna go into game development and design, etc., then you may be a very good character designer, especially with your character White Raven and how she creates those 'friends' (I guess you call them?)

Well i'm trying not to name anything in a fantasy language because i like when words have recognizable meaning, fantasy-realm or not. Though i saw some people saying that they don't like the name of my angel species, but they didn't explain, so it doesn't really matter.
I don't think you are sucking up or anything. But i'm not the best expert of social interaction so you might be. (lol, i kid i kid) It seemed to me just like a good conversation.
