I do the same, but I tend to draw the whole face more than just the eyes XD but for this, I literally went through all 600+ pokemon sugimori images to draw this, and I think it helped me a lot ^-^
Haha, I don't even remember most of the Pokemon I used for these. All I do remember is that a good 3/4 of these examples were from the 1st gen. All the legendaries are there except the Regis, the Lake Trio, and the 5th gen event Pokemon.
