I can keep my distance until you're feeling better, if you wish. I don't want to be close to you knowing there's something keeping you and your mate apart. I feel more than awkward being that friend that's in the middle. I'm really uncomfortable with being here when there's trouble. I know it's not me that's causing the divide, but I just don't want to BE in that divide.... does that make sense? I feel in danger of getting hurt too or that I might say or do something that might make you guys feel even worse.

I wish I was the perfect friend. I wish I had great words of wisdom that could help make amends and set everything right, but all I can do is look at the artwork you two seem to be doing for each other and makes me want to curl into a ball. I think it's great that both of you are able to express you emotions so clearly through artwork, but I still know what's at the core of that art and it makes me want to shy away.
