Sorry that was a bit ambiguous wasn't it, to elaborate I do daily curator work for an abstract group here and I see a lot of mislabelled work come through including quite a bit of "surrealism" which is actually just weird shapes or something. There is on the other hand a distinct quality to some of the Surrealism from the actual historical movement which defines (albeit in an ambiguous way) it's presence and ideal; such as one would find in a museum. In this piece you have captured the latter definition and that's what I was complimenting. I hope that makes more sense.
So, you know, 'actual' surrealism.
