You're welcome.

Sorry that was a bit ambiguous wasn't it, to elaborate I do daily curator work for an abstract group here and I see a lot of mislabelled work come through including quite a bit of "surrealism" which is actually just weird shapes or something. There is on the other hand a distinct quality to some of the Surrealism from the actual historical movement which defines (albeit in an ambiguous way) it's presence and ideal; such as one would find in a museum. In this piece you have captured the latter definition and that's what I was complimenting. I hope that makes more sense. :faint:

So, you know, 'actual' surrealism.
Again, nice work. (:

...well - I have read and observed much about the historical movement of surrealism ..but it is the short lived and preceding 'metaphysical' movement that I most relate to ( De Chirico etc ) ...and I must agree that , even on this site , a lot of what I see is melting forms with eyeballs which I really don't care for ... (a lot of the Daliesque type of thing - done poorly ) .... in most 'collections' of surrealism here and on the net - there are few images that I can really relate to .... yet I do manage to find lots that I do admire - even if they are not always labeled 'surrealism'
....anyway - I appreciate that you can relate to some of my work as 'true' surrealism...if that makes any sense ! :)

heh, what sense...In hindsight maybe I should have just said "nice accurate labelling of your work there" and faved it and left. lol
