Both work for me! I know it's weird.. my eyes actually look bigger if I use a lot of eyeliner (maybe because my eyes are already quite big) but if like, half my face is covered with black eyeliner I can imagine my eyes would look smaller lol

there are make up tutorials out there to make your cheeks less round. in videos, it actually looks like it works (I've never tried it). It makes them look like a guy, it's pretty crazy. You should give it a try if you really wanted to cosplay a cool guy haha. I never tried the make up technique because I don't think I would suit a cool guy at all. my 'non-smiling face' is crap and i'm 5 ft tall LOL.
