Comment on Pier Perspective 6 by Coigach
Ah, gotchya! Did you frequent the festivals during their heyday (not the recent manifestations)? I saw messrs. Hendrix, Dylan & Morrison there in 1970 - East Afton Farm, I recall. Arrived on a converted London Tube train running the length of the pier, I think - or did I imagine that?? 
I was elsewhere at the time! The tube trains are still running, I believe (though I haven't visited for years)
