this is awesome man. I got to see a few different mayan ruins last time in was in Quintana Roo.. I went to Chichen-Itza and Coba, but never made it to Tulum. unfortunately that was like 10 years ago and I wasnt taking photos then. this is beautiful though. and no ones on the beach either!
We made a day trip to Chichen-Itza, the ruins were stunning but it was hot and there were hoards of loud tourists bumbling around. Tulum was my favorite but that was probably because we got there before anyone else and had the whole place to ourselves for the first hour or so. Its nice to get out of the rockies and onto some beaches from time to time. Thanks man.
yeah I've heard that about Chichen-Itza.... We spoiled ourselves and flew in early morning, before all the tour buses could make it from the coast, so we had the place pretty much to ourselves
