I have a collection of 1997-98 Generation 2 ponies, and they're relatively skinnier than the average My Little Pony model. The currently generation is 4 and they've been chibified. There are also pony toys that are made by other companies and are not part of Hasbro's collection. I had some of these too as a kid.

Yeah, I had the generation 2 ones then. They were definitely the prettiest and better than all the newer and the older ones.
