a bit of an oddball choice, but what about my former Zod choice, Dominic West, as Mordo? and yeah, i can understand that he looked like Strange in 1 movie in the 90's, but basing a casting just on that is BS. he seemed very forced in Alice in Wonderland, and my god... his Willy Wonka was so irriating. it's like a beaver sitting on your ear and gnawing it. what about Hugh Laurie? he can pull off both the cockiness and the intimidation factor of the character. Laurie/Sewell or Carbonell/West would manage for pretty good Strange/Mordo combinations. what about Christopher Lee as Dormammu or Andy Serkis as Shuma-Gorath?

I think that Carbonell/West could work but Laurie/Sewell wouldn't because Laurie is 6"2, while Rufus is only 6 foot.
Overall Laurie is a big no no from me. I mean, I adore him and have practically been raised on his comedic work and House, but for the first thirty minutes or more of a Doctor Strange movie that's who he'll be playing. House. An arrogant doctor who's still inexplicably great at their job.
I just think that parallel is too obvious for me to want him cast.

Btw, your choices for Dormammu and Shuma-Gorath are f**king ace!
Also, who is your choice for Clea? I wouldn't mind Sophia Myles.

yeah, Dr. Strange is kinda like House i guess. now it's between Sewell and West for Mordo i guess.

thanks a lot man! another actor who can work for dormammu is Tim Curry, but i'm not sure about him.

my idea was either Marion Cortillard or Diane Kruger for Clea, and either Daniel Dae Kim or Ken Leung for Wong.

I think I'd prefer West as Mordo. He just seems more right for the role.
Hmmm, I do love Tim Curry, but he doesn't seem serious enough for the role. I'd need to see him in a role that really shows his acting skills.

I like the sound of Diane Kruger and I'd prefer Kim; he just seems better for Wong.

yeah, West also was my choice for Zod, but now with Shannon in the role that's not a possibility, but he can still be a great Mordo.

Curry did some fantastic voice work in the 90's, and he can be a good villain, but i think for this round Lee takes the lead.
