Eh... To each their own. I personally find N scale to be a little too small. I'm a details person so the larger the model the more details and features can be installed in them.
Although I have very little modeling experience I still consider myself a craftsman modeler. I enjoy scratch building, modifying, kitbashing, and altering models of all sorts for my hobby. I'm also attracted to a number of "Odd Ball" scales such as On20, On18, 7/8n2, ect... They have more of a craftsmen apprach too them and take me back, in a sense, to how our hobby originated. But that's my outlook. I'm not one to say that "This Scale is Better or Best". To each his or her own and I'll be more than happy to see what they can do. I know a gentleman who models N Scale and does an extremely marvelous job at it!
