Woah this is absolutely amazing! :) I was planning to do something similar but for this picture: [link]
Do you have any tips? :)

Thank you so much, glad you like it :cuddle:!

Awesome reference, I have the same picture in my "must draw"-folder :D (but I probably won't draw it because of the many arms in the background... I'm too lazy for that =p). Uhm, tips... I think it would be great if you did it on black paper (if you hadn't already thought of that :-)). Always keep your pencils sharp (trivial, I know, but it took me so long to realize the importance of sharp pencils), use a sheet of paper under your drawing hand, take your time with drawing details (it really pays off), and don't give up right away if you don't like how it turns out. What else...? Ah, I used acrylic paint for highlights, I think that looks awesome on black paper and it gives the drawing something special, because the colours are much more intense / concentrated than with coloured pencils - you could try that, like in the hair and the shirt. Hope this was helpful :-). Looking forward to seeing your finished drawing :D. Good luck and have fun :cuddle:!

Woah you're a genius or something! Those tips are great! I was thinking on doing it on black paper, it would look better, that's true! It'll be a lot of work because of the arms but it will be worth it I guess :D
Yea, sharp pencils are really important, that's why I have to get supplies every month :P And I have some acrylic paint here so that's great as well! :D
Thank you so much for your advice, I really , really appreciate it! :)

You're welcome, I'm glad they helped :-). Yeah, I think black paper would look great, makes the colours much brighter, plus (in my opinion) it's a completely different experience than drawing on white paper. Wow, you use so many pencils that you have to buy new ones each week? Wow! That's a lot of dead pencils =p.
I'm no expert in colours and colour paint, so I couldn't tell you if gouache would be better than acrylic paint... it's just what I had laying around at home so I used it :D.
And yes it's probably gonna be a lot of work, but when you're done I'm sure it will look great and you will be so glad that you pulled it off and went through with it :-)!

Yea that's true. And I do! I kinda draw a lot :D There's not much to do around here and I started about 2 years ago :) Too bad materials here are really expensive so I try to be careful with them :P
And when I was in Belgium I bought some acrylic paint to make something on a canvas, I really regret not buying a canvas there but it wouldn't fir in my suitcase anymore and I can't find one here :(
I feel like I'm telling my whole life-story. Sorry!
Back to the drawing! I'm sure I'll be happy I did it! I love the feeling when something actually works out good! :)

No problem :-). Yeah, having finished a drawing that you actually like is a pretty awesome feeling!

Oh, that sucks that drawing materials are so expensive where you live... Would it be cheaper to buy art supplies abroad and let them ship to you? I've never done it before with drawing materials, but it may be worth finding out about it. Maybe you could buy yourself a canvas this way :-).

It does suck. I don't know if you use euros or dollars, but I compared everything here to Belgium and most of the things were 5-10 euros cheaper over there.
And it's more expensive to ship it then the actual materials so it's no us for me to let them ship it over here. :(
Thanks though! ;)
