Yeah... our laws are just as strong and restrictive as in the UK concerning firearms... hunting weapons only and ABSOLUTELY no handguns.
Those guns laws are stupid. They are taking away protection from the law-abiding citizens. Those criminals can still get firearms with ease. In America, Criminals aren't allowed to own firearms, but you see them still get them anyways, just like everywhere else on the world. There are these anti-gun assholes that think banning guns will bring down crime, lol no. It will go up, because all the law-abiding citizens who could protect themselves now are open for an attack and can't defend themselves. There are just to many stupid laws. If someone kills your family, and has their back to you and you kill them, you're somehow a killer and get sent to jail for life. Even though that asshole killed 5 people in your house and would have killed you if he saw you, but you got the edge on him even though it was too late. But, you see Cops kill little children with water guns that are yellow and orange, but that's okay because they are police? Fuck all of that. If American citizens weren't armed to their teeth our government would be like China and try to rule use with force. Which they kinda to, but not to that extent like China.
Also, if guns are banned and somehow criminals and serial killers couldn't get their hands on them, there are plenty of things that they could kill with. LIKE KNIVES! Hell, a serial killer could even use their car! What, will they ban cars then? God, I love stupid American politicians that are destroying our country. Sometimes, I wish we were a Dictatorship, so we at least we knew that we were fucked and knew that our country was shit, and not this shit that he have right now. What he have now is worse, because they lie to us and make us think that they will do one thing but will do an other. God, why is it so hard for the government to do their job correctly.
Also, our jails are packed with drug offenders, whereas every other country on this planet send those people to rehab and try to help them, but in America you just get throw in jail with serial killers and other criminals.

Actually... In Canada... killing when you're in danger is actually legal. Handguns are banned, but not hunting or what we call "long arms" (in canada, there's a gun for each seven people).
Look, i duuno much about how the US works... but our laws work perfectly over here... Why? I simple have no idea... people don't even lock their doors, that's how safe we feel! Even the criminals keep their shit to themselves!

Yeah, yeah, I know. Canada is better all way around. Expect that you guys have no real military. But it seems that you Canadians actually care about your people and take care of them. In America, if you're not rich, then you are disposable. Fuck, I have to pay for welfare and medicare, among other things, but I don't get to use those resources if I need them. But, I have to pay them with every single check I make, now that's bullshit. I wish that Canada actually had a military and was able to conquer America, that way our civilians might actually have a good life and not this bullshit that we have to put up with now.

Not to mantion our training... whenever we do war games with the US, pound for pound, we beat you. Besides, we've been putting A LOT of cash into the army so we should be better off ina few years (We are currently buying F-35 fighter jets to replace ou CF-18's... we also have modified Loepoard 2A6M's bought from the germans and the neatherlands).
