Beautiful earthy colors, vivid ones too, as if I'm looking at an animation cel placed on a pretty olive green background. Oh, and Robin Hood was one of my many childhood heroes, gotta stick that in there!

Odd thing coming from me, no? The bright colors? 
But then, whenever I think of Robin Hood all I can see is Sherwood Forest all green and sunny. Donno why - it's like a constant ... something in my mind. But then, Robin was mostly a trickster, so anything other then joyful colors doesn't seem... him.

Heck ya! Green is the color I would definitely think of as well! It's constant in my mind too thanks to the film! 
No, there's not bright or joyful colors, I did say earthy colors, and vivid meaning your style reminds me of a painted cel. The difference is you added dimensions with shadow effects, different from a cel. Still uber LOVERLY!!!

Well, many didn't believe me that my first time drawing Basil was "Suspicious Detective" in 2006, so there ya go!
