With all the crap Sony's been doing lately, I can't say I blame them.
When your a company that goes after people for JAILBREAKING THEIR OWN CONSOLE (That they bought WITH THEIR OWN MONEY, I MIGHT ADD!), you're BOUND to attract A LOT of hostility.
And some of those hostiles HAPPEN to be pissed hackers...
