Oh! What a sad little tale for the girl! Though, I DO love the way she looks in your picture of the adult Anne. She seems impetuous as well as strong-willed. I actually imagine a sword somewhere at her hip, or maybe a knife in her corset!

She always keeps daggers hidden beneath her petticoats xD A girl needs to defend herself in a world like that @@

I LIKE a girl like that! XD Are all your OCs so amusing and fiery?

I don't like damsels in distress very much, so I usually give them a few characteristics so they can take care of themselves (at least for a while xD)withoutfalling inrto the superwoman category, of course

It's hard to NOT cross the line into the superwoman or the weepy damsel categories. Prolly since you found the middle ground, it's why I LOVE your little darling so much. Though she WAS cute as a kid!

Yes she was!!! The only kid in a ship full of strong, hard, bad guys? omg they were spoiling her all day xD I've got a few drawings in my sketchbook of her childhood, but I think my skills at drawing kids fluctuate to much, sometimes they look cute but others, they just look like huge-eyed little monsters xD

Spoiling her... a ship of bad guys.... Hahah... Makes me think of "Tangled," if you saw that movie. There was that scene in a tavern full of rogues and ruffians? And suddenly they're all singing about their dreams - which were all so cute! Hahah...

I don't know WHAT's harder, really: kids or the... middle aged and elderly. One of my groups has a time-warp event going on, and I'm TRYING to draw my character as a kid and as a dude in his 40s. SOOOOO hard! At least you sometimes manage! And depending on the viewer, your 'huge-eyed monsters' probably look adorable too!

Yeah! Older people are so hard to draw! But kids are still the worst for me. I cannot find the right proportions xDDDDDDDD
