One of my Uncle's friends had one when I was a kid. The thing was fucking sweet looking in person. He made it look like the one from the movie Cobra.

In the movie it was more of an undercover street rod that he used as his car. It was heavily modified with a nitro booster on the engine. You can see it here [link]

That car is intact most of the movie and they have better screen shots of it on the internet if you do a Google Image search for Cobra Mercury. They sell actual kits for the real cars to make them look like the one from the movie because it was so popular here.
