Yeah I wasn't sure about the lower body part either, especially the feet like you just said. I actually did the leg design twice and was only satisfied with the second attempt. This unit is ofc not built for speed and I explain in the bottom part that the leg parts can be replaced with tracks, which I will include later on in the sketch (If I do get it finished). That track should provide this unit with the mobility if it were to be put on the front lines, and the ability to hold a massive rifle. However this leg design is for "landed operations" meaning aerial drop to specific locations where this unit sets up camp and provide artillery fire. The feet and legs actually adjusts and transforms into a stand for a sniper nest. That was the intended function of this feet design but I'm still not that satisfied with it for reasons you've already stated. I just have a thing for thin mechs : /
