A few differences between this and Lotus Cobra. First, this is colorless. That means any deck can play it. Second, it costs one less, meaning you get an extra turn of ramp. Third, you can save up counters on this, and not on Lotus Cobra. And Lotus Cobra is STILL one of the most powerful creatures in standard.
Oh, I know there are differences. As I said, I agree that this is overpowered. I'm just saying, people had the EXACT same thought process (Cobra + fetches = turn three Ultimatum!) when Cobra was revealed, but the hype soon wore off. And Cobra is far from one of the most powerful creatures in standard. Powerful, yes. But not one of the most powerful.
