Yeah, is an idea that I have considered. But the script (at the moment, I don't know if the idea will change) isn't for a "regular download". The script is for a complete download, all the suite. The wallpapers are the most subjective part (is true), but is an important design part.
You can deactivate the wallpaper download in the script code. Open with Kate (or another simple text editor) the program, surf to the wallpaper download line and comment this (a "#" symbol at the beginning of the line). With this trick, the script can run without the mandatory command.
