You have so much reason to be proud! This rocks. I love the way you compressed so much into one illustration. That wand/light effect is wonderful, so are the expressions -- and I didn't find the foreshortened wand too short. It gave the piece a lot of immediacy and I like the way it's overlaid with Dumbledore reduced and overlaid, it's not literal but so evocative -- it's like he's far away and reduced by distance but overlapped in front, which is so cool. Packs a lot of punch!

great face expressions. Mainly Potter. And Dumbledore looks great too.

It's outstanding, I love all of their expressions. You're so good at drawing faces. The only thing that bothers me a bit is Dumbledore's hand...

JEEZ this is amazing. The expressions really say it all (especially Harry's) and you've really caught that moment, frozen in time, that moment when everything slows down....
The horror in Harry's gaze is piercing, as is Snape's fiercesome proclamation.

This is one of those rare finds that just absolutely stuns the viewer. I am in love with watercolour, it's my favourite medium, and you are really very masterful at it! I have to tell you that your Snape has quickly become one of my favourite versions thus far - you really portray him well. The green light is amazing - I'm so jealous - I don't think I could do that with watercolours!
You may be right about the wand - though I honestly don't think it draws that much attention within the peice. Absolutely well done.

Watercolours are great because no matter how bad it looks when you've started it always looks a tad better when you're finished.
But for a watercoloured pic such as this is a great acheivement. Wonderful job. A must fav.
