I don't know what it is about this picture that I love so much, but it just seems to draw something... Some kind of mental image or maybe a story behind it... Almost as if he had to leave for a business trip and she awoke to see the rose and letter waiting for her... Or better yet, a soldier leaving his one-and-only a love letter the day he was scheduled to leave for a battle he might not come back from... The poem fits perfectly with the picture... Amazing work... True artistry...
