Couldn't the drone be replaced with remote control equipment and be operated like a UAV? This would give you both advantages, of having a human pilot, and being able to operate at higher G's. Small fish-eye cameras mounted on all sides would give the pilot a higher field of view than if he/she were there in the fighter him/herself.
