it's the same way with my art tbh. it's always nice to get acknowledgement, but my most popular piece has 50 favorites and no comments... it's like, i really appreciate that people like it, but what do they like about it? what could i do to be better? that's the kind of thing i wish people would tell me. even someone just saying they liked it would be nice!
and i know what you mean about people like that. i always try to give people advice, but i never know if they're the type that'll get super angry or offended and block me or something. and im not even rude about it...
