the colors are very toned down, with a monochromatic hint of lilac. the facial expression is perfectly soft, as reflective of the same softness seen in the ruffles of her dress/top and the surrounding foliage. the glow (hitting the right spot and perfectly illuminating the subject) has an allover ethereal, dreamy effect, while giving the photo a joyful mood. this picture is inexplicably beautiful. <3
