It depends on each artist. For me it's much easier sketching on paper, and then colouring digitally :)
In fact maybe the easiest thing is colouring with colour pencils, but I prefer the digital result ;)

thank you. say do you know where I can find a cheap brand new cintiq 21inch from? I don't even have a $1,000 and some dollars? lol

Oh I'm sorry, I have a Wacom tablet. It works really good, and you can find some for around 100$, but I don't know anything about cintiq... Sorry about that ^^;

Lol. That's fine and thank you. The cintiq 22 or 24inch is a like a bigger version but with a bigger screen for drawing paces. You can actually hook it up to the Mac book or windows computer/laptop and draw on it like you do the wacom.

Oooh yeah I know it, but that's for proffessional artists, it's too expensive for me! D:
I only have a normal Wacom Bamboo tablet ^^;

oooh. and omgsh why the heck is it so expensive?! LOL and I really need one too...lol I wanted one for the school im gonna apply for its an art school that requires an mack book pro 13 in and a Wacom 5 or higher.
