No. People have actually fucking done this in the school I went to.

"I love him!" "how do you know?" "I just do!" "Have you ever talked to him?" "No! One look is enough, I know we're meant to be together!!!!!!"

And what about those cheesy things of sparkly lights and shit in movies when someone sees someone and thinks "OMG It's love!"
It happened in several movies
"The Last Unicorn"
"Jungle Book"
"West Side Story"

And the classic that no one should model their relationship after, it happened in "Romeo and Juliet"

Romeo and Juliet was originally meant to take place over a span of several months, but I digress.

In the end, no harm done. People can think they "love" someone after just one look, but in the end, nothing will happen unless there is chemistry. I think the idea of true "love at first sight" is cute, but not true.

:meow: Yes, it is a very cute idea. It'd be awesome to not bother with the flirting and the dating and the "I have to make more effort to be decent and not totally myself to not scare them off right away." because if you both knew it was true love immediately you could just meet them and go "LETS GET MARRIED" :dummy:
:grump: I would of saved lots of trouble not bothering with any of my ex's if I knew they weren't meant to last.

Yeah, but there is a certain amount of pleasure in meeting people, dating a few, dumping a few, and then finding a special person that does "cut it". For animals, it's easy. They don't want a partner they can stand, they want one which will provide a healthy litter. That's it. For us humans, it goes farther. You have to spend the rest of your life with that person, so you'd better have it right the first time.

Or try to get it right at least.
