I can understand your point of view. I like to promote art for all ages, but at the same time, it would be great if DA had even a simple filter based on age, but how can you prove it with account setup being so easy. The only other way is by looking at the art itself...which for DA numbers in the millions already or more right? How can you police all that art by eye? The only thing left is being up front with fellow Deviants and asking them on their honor to place work where it has true integrity for the viewer looking for a particular type of artwork. I think this type of general problem plague conceptart.org and they structure their folders to reflect quality. But it wasn't in terms of subjective tastes in art...but by apparent finish, effort, or in some cases lack of. That was more apparent and neutral way to deal with ogranizing the art. And it was up to the admins to check on that and police the forums looking for stray sheep.
