Comment on My Mentors by Omar-Dogan

Would you say that it's a bad thing when you realize that the things that initially inspired you to start doing art just doesn't cut it anymore? Or to say it differently... grown out of? Because that's how I feel when thinking about this question.
In my opinion, mentors in graphic design specifically are hard to weigh in since it's such a broad field.

Mentors i think are more than what I am saying here. I should really specify that these people were influences and i havent consulted them for specific remarks on my work or advice.

As for what inspires you initially from an artist you admire, i think it goes in stages.

I just use my influential artists as a different set of eyes to look through at my own work in a way. I always end up competing with myself, and that is the best way to improve sometimes.
