Wow. I know how you feel man. Being an artist myself (Writer online, actor IRL), I know how bitchy people can be about "You should do this" or "That would be better." I've always thought that it's good to try everything, and then find something that's right for you. (For example, I'm going to use a more sadistic tone in my next fanfic.) And being able to use many different things is a great thing. Not easy, but great. And man, I've always been awed at your skill with a pen, and your words here have rung very true. You are a truly dedicated artist, JA, and I admire that.
