Oh crap, that is something I probably wouldn't be able to help much yet. I'm still studying into hardware, and it's not my strong point as of yet. DX I was say that sending it in would be a pretty good idea, because they should be able to fix the connection, but buying a new computer might be cheaper, if your current one isn't under warranty.

I think it's probably just a hardware issue at this point, especially if the connection has been worn down. I have yet to work with repairing that sort of thing, but if it was bad enough, some parts might need to be replaced. As for the cost of replacing said part... I'm not entirely sure. Ugh, but I feel so bad, being unable to help you. DX
