I only have this on occasion. But even then it's very terrible. Let alone if it was all the time, even if it is in long phases for me at times. Once went 3 days without being able to sleep a freaking wink, staying up in bed for 4 hours staring at the effin' ceiling. And people just tell me to "go to sleep". Yeah, tried that shit.

Thankfully I have times when I can sleep good, as well. But, I feel for everyone. T___T

I hate it when people try to tell me to go asleep too after I have been trying to for hours! Believe me I've tried! Sometimes teachers give the repeated advice over and over "Go going to bed earlier.""Get better sleep.""You just need to stop playing video games/ computer/ studying too much." Like they know what's going on GRR! I wish it were that simple...Rage Waaaah!

Yeah, I had the "stare at the ceiling fest" for 7 hours last Thursday. :D But people that don't have the problem, will not understand. Until they experience it, they won't even try to, unless they become genuinely interested.
Sleep... the joy, need and bane of our existence.

I know I kinda wish they did so they would stop saying those things over and over. But then I don't because no one should experience the hell that is insomnia!

Indeed. It's 8am here, and I haven't slept. o/ So much fun, more time to do things... yeah right.

Is it normal that i only get a couple hours of sleep some nights. but like on the weekend i hibernate it so annoying!

I do that as well, sometimes... and for me, a typical pattern also is 2 days no sleep, 1 day coma, 2 days no sleep...
My grandma always scolds me and tells me I need to stop playing games at night, but oh well. If the problem was so easily solved, I'd take it. :D
