Have you had a Drawfriend show up without submitting it yourself?
It is fun, but it is also interesting how few comments, at least over here at DA, there have been after so many image views, though Dashie and Popcorn have received quite a few favorites.

More that I felt a little embarrassed and not sure if self-submission was the "done thing." But happy when I got one in, of course! And I have not anything of mine show up without my submission. Really just knowing I could get the one in there just let me stop obsessing about it.
I am glad that the subject of Drawfriend submission got out into the open. Maybe it will help others around here. Maybe it should be in the FAQ on the group site.
It does help settle the ego a bit. It's the old "does my art warrant the recognition?" deal. Not that it really means your art is valid or not, all art is valid, just that EqD has decided they will display it over there.
