Maybe the second pair of goggles act as flashlights for in the dark?
Seems dumb... Not to be mean... But wouldn't that make his "Stealth" and his "Spider-Sense", which helps him when he can't see, unnecessary.
But what if the bad guy's behind him? His spider sense can still work there.
