I really hate the way the world treats lesbians and gays. I was taught that it was unnatural, and that they should be avoided, and I feel bad for those who don't understand it, though I can't claim to understand it fully myself, as I am straight. <3 I hope you can find recognition for your talent, instead of just your interest in the same gender. ^^
I was actually brought up the same way. Where I live, my roommates would be hurt and ridiculed if they held hands in public, which is just sad. But, I've learned that haters are definitely going to hate, so it's best to just leave them be.
It's just sad that there are so many haters, and that so many can't ignore them. I hate that there's often nobody there to stay on their side. People need to know that there's nothing wrong with gays.
