I was pretty stunned when I read your comment and learned that you used ink for drawing this! If you asked me I would've sworn this was pencil on paper. Or like your other recent drawing of Jared Leto, white pencil on black paper. I guess that's because the typical ink strokes are missing here. Not that that's a bad thing, not at all! Did you do most of the painting with brushes? Anyways, I think this is terriffic, especially considering this was your first try with ink! I also love the splashes they very much underline the emotions of this drawing, give it an extra portion of energy!

Aww, thanks so much, glad you like it :cuddle:! I like the splashes as well, I think it would look very boring without them.

I know, it doesn't look like an ink painting... maybe that's because of my need for smooth changeovers in shading? Or maybe it's just because I don't know how to use ink =p. I think one uses ink because of the typical ink strokes.

Yes, I did like 98% of it with brushes and used the dip pen only for highlights (hair, beard, underarm hair) and little details (eye and nose). The tattoos were made with my smallest brush I have. I have so many brushes, and I never use them so I didn't even know I had such a small brush :D.

You're very welcome sweetie!
Only drawing with ink stokes defenately needs some getting used to. And I like that you didn't use ink the way anyone else does, makes it more special!
