Well, I can only speak for the D-SLRs, that the switch is always on the lens itself. Since you have a BRIDGE camera, you should either find the focus type in the menu of your camera or on the outside where the display is, something called "MF" or something. You can also ready the book that came with the camera on page 89. :D

I don't even know where the manual is ahah I never read them xD
I found MF anyway, now I have something new to practice :lol:

Yeah the manual focus comes in pretty handy when shooting something that is very fast, or when there isn't anything the autofocus can focus on, like sky shots or landscapes. :nod:
