Maybe so. But, it's pretty obnoxious that everyone would rather hate America than acknowledge all of the good of our country. It's like we could go and bash Japan for all the bad of Japan. The country has the highest suicide rate of anywhere else in the world, they're "small" in physical proportions, they all look alike, they statistically have one of the lowest sexual intercourse rates out of the entire world, etc etc etc. But no, we don't typically bring any of that up. We look at anime, gaming, and their technological genius and nothing else. Why is that when people look at America they constantly hate up on stupid little things that don't represent the whole? What about all the amazing good stuff about our country? Scenery, cars, movies, animation gurus like Pixar and Laika, TV shows, music, our food, space program, etc etc! We don't get any thanks. Without America we wouldn't have pacemakers, antihistamine, dry-packaged food goods, religious freedom, satellites, the idea of "superheroes", and so much more. Why do people look at us and think we all subscribe to Westboro Baptist Church? Do people realize that church consists of less than 200 people and it's mostly a single family? THEY HATE America so why are Americans associated with them? And why do we get blamed for all these wars? Do people realize most of them are anti-terrorism? There are terrorist crimes happening all over Europe and France even started this whole Syria war here recently. We should be thanked for taking criminals out of power like Saddam Hussein and the wretched Osama bin Laden. But no, we are hated? It doesn't make sense.

Overall, it's just nonsense to be bashed constantly. I'd like to find these Americans you talk about that constantly bash other countries, because I've never seen it.

Wow....just wow. I don't know if I should shake your hand or slap you in the face. You attack things people say about your country then do the exact same thing you blame them for. You overlook the obvious love and admiration your country gets and focus on all the bad stuff (I am a pessimistic person so I think I understand where your coming).

First I think you might like to watch this, something made by people of your country that talk a little bit about what your country does [link] . I'm not saying others don't do it but it does show your countrymen talking bad about your country, about the things they have done themselves for their country and the system your country has created.

Okay now onto the rest, I'm not even sure where to begin so let's work from the top shall we.

I will assume when you say that "everyone" you are talking about the people that bad mouth your country, not everyone from that country, just so I don't mistake what you mean and get the wrong idea and think your a complete moron. I don't think your a moron just a little blind to the bigger picture.

Japan doesn't have the highest suicide rate in the world for starters, however I would like to bring up that the USA does have the highest reported crime rates in the world, nearly 3 times as much as Japan which comes in at 6th place. I should add that the UK is second on that list, just to be clear. Also the USA has the second highest prison population in the world.

Me bringing up random facts about a country is rubbish because it means nothing to the whole, to the point at hand. I'm pretty sure wherever you are hearing this hate towards your country they aren't attacking it without a reason. Unlike what you have done, saying that Japanese people "All Look Alike", which is ignorant and wrong. Just because your eyes can't see the difference doesn't mean they look alike, well doesn't mean they don't look as similar to each other as Caucasian people look to each other or black people to each other. The statement that "we don't typically bring any of that up" is just as valid as me saying that people generally don't bash America, they are more likely to bash their own countries.

If you choose to solely look upon Anime, Gaming and Japanese people being technological geniuses then that's great for you but you should know that their is more to a nation than that. America isn't just TV shows, Apple products, movies and pop music. So try to explore away from the limited view you have of other countries, it may enlighten you and see the world isn't just America plus everyone else.

"Why is that when people look at America they constantly hate up on stupid little things that don't represent the whole?" Hmmm okay maybe this is true but isn't this also true for other countries, like what you said about Japan? Maybe you should fix your own ideals before you try to change others who do the same thing. Also people usual hate on little things, we live in a world where we have more than we need (We as in, people like in M.E.D.C's) so we complain about the smaller things because they aren't that serious.

"Damn you internet why are you so slow, FML"
"Shit I can't get a signal here, typical"
"What do you mean the tickets are sold out, fucking hell! Why is it always me?"

Random rubbish like that, so when people bad mouth America over little things they may direct it at the whole country (as you say) but they are just complaining about a smaller problem. When there are potholes in the streets you don't says

"Wow this weather, mixed in with heavy traffic flow and my local government's Highway Agency faction is not keeping up with the maintenance of this road really is a bother"

You're more likely to say:

"Damn potholes, the government need to fix this"

Of course it's not the whole government's job to fix roads but you aim at the large target because it's easier. I think that makes sense, if not I'm sorry I didn't get my point across. Also I would like to know the places you visit where you are hearing nothing but negative comments towards America and no positive ones.

"What about all the amazing good stuff about our country? Scenery, cars, movies, animation gurus like Pixar and Laika, TV shows, music, our food, space program, etc etc! We don't get any thanks."

Okay, first I would like to say you are quite wrong on this point. I think the massive reason you may not hear these thanks is the places you choose to socialize, in real life and online. Also I am guessing you haven't created any of these things so why would you need to be thanked for them, the appropriate people are given thanks on a daily, weekly, hourly, monthly bases. I would seriously consider relocating from the areas you hangout because you may just be in a bad area (on the internet or otherwise). Look at the masses of people that use your products, watch you shows and movies, listen to your music, derive inspiration from your geniuses, out spoken heroes, artists, art , comics, comedians, games, tv shows, media outlets, movies, short films, music videos, etc etc. Look at all the people who imitate what your country does, thanks can be show in a mass of ways without saying the words.

Now let me ask you this, do you constantly thank what other countries have provided you, the technology to make your ideas, products, tv shows, movies etc etc better? Do you thank the Irish and Chinese form helping build your rail roads? Do you thank the african people of your nation who were enslaved at made to work to improve the country that you love? Do you thank everyone one for doing anything you can't do for yourself or that has aided in doing something for yourself? I'm guessing not because you was be saying thank you constantly, but I'm sure you show it by appreciating the effort behind their work.... or maybe you don't, how the fuck should I know.

Why do people look at us and think we all subscribe to Westboro Baptist Church?

Okay maybe this can be a little bit true, but not for all Americans. I think that peopole may think the city or state this people come from have the same views, not the whole country, I don't believe the majority of people are that ignorant. Actually to be honest the only times I hear about the westboro bapist church is when some American, Canadian or British person is bashing them, I would say 99% of the things I hear about the WBBC is against it. So I would like to put your mind at ease and let you know that the majority of people who know about the WBBC do not believe it's the whole of the USA.

"And why do we get blamed for all these wars? Do people realize most of them are anti-terrorism?"

Of course people believe it comes from a terrorism stand point, not a lot of people think you are going to invade turkey just because it may have some oil. I should say that the video link I provided before could probably answer this question more than I can. It's 2 Hours long so watch it when you have some time. I however should say I don't care why people start wars, there is hate in this world so it's bound to happen. You are a Powerhouse, when you do something the world takes notice, it's a simple as that. So when you say you are going to war, people assume it's you who has initiated it. That is wrong but you must know that the reasons for your wars are not always about terrorism. As the video above states.

I should also state that Killing or having someone killed by your actions, namely Saddasm Hussein and Osama Bin Laden, was not all you did, you used alot of your countries resources money and destroyed a lot of places while looking for these two. This isn't a video game, these aren't final bosses, just because they are dead doesn't mean the original problem is fixed. There is already a new Leader of Al-Qaeda, terrorist plots are probably already in the works and as you have stated the wars aren't over, they are still spreading.

Overall I would say you get as much hate, anger, abuse than you get Love, admiration and gratitude. If you choose to only see the anger that is your fault, if you only get the opportunity to see the negative, then change the places you view, because they must be very poisonous to you. It's not nice to have your country bashed.

You however have created something negative on something simple, a simple mis understanding of a comment, you went on to bash the UK and the beetles (How I do not care for one way or the other). Of course if I listen to a large portion of american music, I will find a lot I love and don't like about it. If you only eat Hamburger you will find some that taste terrible and some that are glorious. It's a simple matter of probability. I have provided a video where Americas talk about the negative things your country has done, the internet is too vast to find individual occurrences of negative comments from Americans too people of other countries. I'm sure a quick google search will have you find what your looking for.

Again I have no idea where you are seeing so much hate, if you could show me then I think maybe I could understand a little better.

Hopefully this will be my last long messages to you, because this is silly and a waste of time considering what it came from. Like I probably have said before, talk to your government they have the power to fixed some of the issues you have brought up, step away from these places you are hearing hate from they will not help you, only fuel your anger and taint your view of countries that are largely innocent of these incidents. I'm not saying it doesn't happen but the volume is so low compared to the population of these countries.

Again I wish you well Mr Paxton, I hope you find peace and your issues are resolved, I hope your response is a more enlighten one or not one at all.

Cheerio Chap!

I don't know where you're getting your statistics. Highest crime-rate countries: [link] Suicide countries: [link] (Japan being highest because of highest rate coupled with one of the largest populations as well as the highest female suicide rate) As for sex rates? You might find this surprising: [link]

I don't have a limited view of other countries. Am I really going to list all the amazing things about Japan? I could go on and on. Culture, traditional history, martial arts' fighting styles, food, teen living, artistic gurus, imagination on the horror genre in media, and more and more. But no, I listed the few that came to mind immediately.

Lastly, I will say that I won't be watching that video. I refuse to believe the 9/11 conspiracy theory and that banks rule armies across the globe. I do believe there is good in people. Conspiracy theories just scare you into hate. There is so much more to life than worrying about the truth of the government's doings when you can't even do anything about it in the first place.

These list you have proved say nothing about Japan being the number 1 highest country for suicide rates. Read it, you showed it to me. Okay yes Japan did have the highest suicide rate for females in 2010, You also need to take notice of the variation of the years these stats were collected. Japan, Belarus and Russia are from 2010. The US, Canada and South Africa are from 2005, even the UK is behind and it's stats are from 2008. Japan does have the highest rates for female suicides in these bunch of stats but the top 4 have no stats for females in 2010, the top for also have higher totals and the ones that have male rates displayed have higher male rates (out of the top 4).

If you really check the stats the country with the most amount of people who died from suicides isn't Japan. High Male rate 36.5 combine with High Female rate 14.3, let's round it off to 51 for the total. 51 in every 100,000 people committed suicide, out of the whole population (Which is approx 128,000,000) that would be 65,280 people killed themselves in 2010. If we use the total (24.6) on the page you provide it would be 31,488 people killed themselves. Right? Okay good.

The Russian total (23.5)on the page your provided would be 33,370 people who killed themselves in 2010, based on it having 142,000,000 people in it's population. The rate may be lower but the amount of people is higher. NOW if we take your country and use this same formula, US population 312,000,000 in 2011, so let's bring it down to where you outdated suicide stats beginning which would be around 296,000,000 in 2005. Total suicide rate 11.1 per 100,000 , complete population 296,000,000 so that would be 32,856 people commit suicide in the US in 2005 compared to the Japanese in 2010 being 31,488. If you take the male rates and female rates separately and combine them (17.7 + 4.5 = 22.2) and use the same formula it would come to 65,712, which is still higher than the Japanese. So just because the rates are higher it doesn't mean more people have died as a result. America has one of the highest due to it's large population. Yes Japan's rate in 2010 is higher than the US's in 2005, but more people died in the US.

The other link you sent me showed me homicidal rates, I didn't say America had the highest homicidal rates, don't claim homicide rates and Highest Crime rates to be the same thing."I don't know where you're getting your statistics. Highest crime-rate countries: (Link provided)", just in case you think I'm lying.

Okay well if you don't have a limited view then I can't disprove that. I am not a mind reader so I can only understand what you type. So if I said you said a limited view of Japan, I apologise. Sorry for saying you had a limited view of Japan.

Oh and if you don't want to hear or watch the video I can't force you. I said you should watch it because you wanted proof of America people bad mouthing their own country and sometimes others. If you do not want to hear people tell you what they did for their country then that is fine. I must have forgotten about this "9/11 conspiracy" so refrain from watching it, that's your choice. Conspiracy theories or not, how you take on the information is solely based upon the individual, it will not promote hate to people who have an optimistic or lighten view. It can and does show people what's out their, to give them a view from more than one side. If you believe watching it will turn you into a Hate filled person, hating your country and make you believe the government are evil, then don't watch it, if you want to protect your ideals, then please do so. It's your right, I wouldn't want to force you to watch it.

I am glad that the conversation is getting narrower and narrower, however I still have not heard an acceptance of misunderstand for the original comment. I have explained, you have avoided it. So let's hope this can be our last exchange because I wouldn't want to start another weird conversation from a simple comment.

Again I wish the best for you Mr Paxton, I hope the world treats you well and you get everything you deserve and work for.
