YES. YES. The original music of Digimon was just awesome, both the songs and the BGMs! I don't think I know how to appreciate the dub music. >_>;;

I don't think I can pick favourites, I tend to really love everything... well, about a third from the huge playlist?
I enjoy everything by Wada Kouji, nearly everything by AiM, and Kazama Yuuto's pieces (Yamato) are also lovely. The evolution (and card slash) themes also make my ears very happy, and some of the anniversary/Christmas songs are gorgeous. Although not Masterpieces of Music, many of the other character image songs are wonderful, or at least highly amusing (Guilmon March, Agumon Ondo)... Never Give Up in Xros Wars and the various battle themes there are great, too!

AiM isn't too bad (I find her voice too high pitched for my tastes, however, at least she can sing well...and like you mentioned, some of the Best Partner CDs were not exactly "masterpieces" LOL!!). Ooh, I like the Bokura wa Dejitaru theme (very nice) too!

I'm a total Digimon nerd, so I collected pretty much every album that I could get my hands on XD;; I'm still missing some of the Frontier, Savers and Xros Wars stuff, though.

Yep, definitely a Digimon nerd XDDD (I thought I was a Digimon nerd but man, I'm nowhere near your league XP). Dang you lucky thing, my country doesn't sell this kind of stuff so it's SUPER difficult to find (thus reliance on youtube and/or mp3 downloads which sucks because I wanted the real thing lol!!). Actually, my country doesn't sell it either, so my collection came from YEARS AND YEARS OF COLLECTING ALL OVER THE INTERNET. If I could find them I would totally spend on them but.... Well, Digimon from the old days are kind of ancient. XD; The only Digimon merchandise I have are limited to VCDs of some of the movies, and a couple of toys. I'm hoping to buy the Wargreymon and Cyberdramon and Beelzebumon figurines one day though!

YES I HAVE. I LOVE THOSE VERSIONS, PARTICULARLY HONTOU NO TSUYOSA. It sounds so wonderfully jazzy~ Wormmon and Ken's were lovely too, but there's no pretty harmony in there. XD Oota Michihiko is one of my favourite musicians of all time, although I'm usually not quite fond of his covers for the Digivolution/Opening themes because I'm biased and prefer the original, but the fact remains that he /did/ arrange them all.
(I'm sorry for rambling too, as you say, it's RARE TO FIND SOMEONE LIKE YOU. Or, if I were to put it in a more cliched manner, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIIIIIIIIIIIFEEEE~~~!)

Woah, talk about dedication XD!! But yeah the CDs are too difficult to find nowadays (either that or I haven't been trying hard enough lolll). Ooh, I would LOVE to have a Beelzebumon figurine only cos his character design is hawt *gets shot*
