If I remember correctly, this was taken from the back of our MRAP. Vehicles are awesome to store gear in, but I preferred dismounted patrols for the reasons you provided. That and they are incredibly cramped on the inside.

All nations must be getting together and making their vehicles off of the shortest people possible.
