Hope you didn't have anything to do with the story lines on those programs, talk about blatant anthropomorphising!

I didn't. But I liked it. Nobody tried to persuade the public of anthropomorphic dinosaur behavior. It was just an artistic tool of the creators. Sweet and funny way instead of boring narration. And it's strange for me that there are so many people who didn't understand it.

same here, idk why everyone's complaining about it ._. it's nice to have some emotion in a documentary once in a while

For a contrast have you seen Planet Dinosaur by the BBC, so much less sensationalism superb CGI and based on latest discoveries?

I understand where you're coming from and don't get me wrong I did enjoy the episodes. Have you seen Planet Dinosaur by the BBC? 6 superbly crafted episodes, excellent CGI and all based on latest discoveries. I guess you're in the U.S.? It should be available on DVD. It's just Discovery makes these type of programs so sensationalist.

I've seen Planet Dinosaur. Good program and a lot of interesting scientific content but CGI was far from perfect (fine but too "computer", plus a lot of anatomical mistakes). To be honest that was common TV dinosaur show. There are dozens of such programs and they have almost identical format. Boring... Creators of DR just chose another way and another style. And it's good because now we have DIFFERENT movies. =)
And I'm not in US. I from Russia.

I'll agree on some of the CGI in Planet Dinosaur, but it only dramatised what was seen or reasonably inferred by fossil evidence (which was not the case with Walking With Dinosaurs). DR and PD are 2 different types of programs, and unfortunately for me PD almost came across as a children's program with it's sensationalism and storytelling :(
