And that ring of clouds/smoke in the sky looks great. And I think I see a bit of reflection in the fog underneath that ship? Very impressive.
I just have 2 suggestions - first is that the volumetric light shining through the clouds doesn't always match up with the clouds themselves.
Second is (and I can't believe I'm actually saying this to you) it needs more detail! You set up all these great places for detail work, like building surfaces in the background, and then stopped at about 90%. A little texturing in that spikey background, a light here and there on the cars, etc would really push this over the top.
But knowing you, I suspect leaving those was a conscious choice, either for style or for time. Overall it's fantastic for a first full painted piece. Keep em comin!
