I'm on the western side! I'm mostly in the LA area, home of AX and I'm actually going to Fanime next month. I dunno about you but you said western side, so....are you attending Fanime? ;D
Ahhhh man!!! I was totally wanting to go to AX this year! I was deciding between that and Otakon. Dx Unfortunately no, I'm not. ): I'm using most of my time off for Otakon this summer. Maybe next year though... xD Haha I suppose I shouldn't be surprised; most of the people I meet online are either in Cali or on the east coast. I am in Utah myself, home of the people who...don't like anime or videogames.

You know AX is the place to be! xD But considering that the X-Games is going to happen on the same date as AX, I kinda feel like it might conflict to people who don't know anything about our type of convention and there might be conflict. Ah Utah, clear skies and miles of.....whatever you guys have there hehehe. Thats why you need to go to AX, because LA is the place to be....for anime and videogames that is 
Lol, well I can't really change it now! Got plane tickets and all. Well I'm tentatively planning on going to either Comic Con or AX next year, it really depends on the group I go with. Believe me, I'd rather be there than here most of the time...it's so booooring here. xD

Well hopefully when AX rolls around next year, you'll be attending it, and if you do, I'll show you around the grounds, just to make sure you don't get lost in the City of Angels. Well for me, Comic Con is too soon after AX so that would be a no go for me since funds will be exhausted by then
