That's a little like saying you don't hate slaves, but you just don't support freeing them.

Right now in my home state, people who are gay can be fired just because they're gay.  Similarly, they can be evicted or denied commercial services or expelled because they're gay and the person doing that to them could go on TV and explain tat they were doing it because they're gay, and it would still be completely legal.

There are also public officials who deny the rights of gay people to be married and to have the child custody, tax, medical, and inheritance benefits that come with that.

Let's be honest, it's also not uncommon for a gay person to be physcically attacked and beaten because they're gay.

So you can claim you don't "hate" these people, but you're actively supporting a system where gay people are deprived of rights, safety, property and humanity.

I'm not supporting that, I just live my life and go my ways, and others can go their ways, I don't care if they're straight, gay, Bi, or whatever, all it matters is that we are all human and should be treated with the same equal rights

I'm glad you support rights for gay people.

I'm sure you can understand me thinking the opposite when you said you oppose gayness.

I'm not gay myself, but I think it's very important to stand up for rights for everyone.

I'm sorry if it sounded like I opposed gayness, I never meant for it to come off like that, it's important to stand up for everyone no matter what

I appreciate that.

Thanks for being open minded and for talking about this.
