Comment on Archeological Survey by steve-burg
It was really hard to decide whether to favor this or "Convoy", but finally I decided for this one, because with the people as a size comparison, and the city (?) skyline in the distance it gives me a more complete impression. I've read that you are inspired by the old book covers, and the "Convoy" scene would do at least as well there, but for me, this one is my favorite 
Thanks for your comment. I tend to like scenes with atmosphere, and figures to give a point of reference - so I agree with you, I prefer this one too! 
Some day you must write a little story about the scientists work there
We can only guess what they discovered - the expedition was never heard from again!
