Thank you for sharing not only your thought process and intentions while making this, but also your beautiful story about Uncle Vladimir. I was touched, and it makes the painting even better knowing how much memory and love was recalled while making it 
Oh thank you for paying attention to Uncle Vladimir...Actually I was touched that this particular piece has drawn the attention of other people (usually if people are interested in what I draw it's because of Harry Potter/ Severus Snape, so I don't know if Snape aside, my works would interest other people) because it refers to a significant and intimate part of my life and I was happy to remember him and my childhood. Some encounters can be crucial and I believe that the old man deserved at least this small tribute.
