Well yeah, if he did show it to Cecil or in front of others then it be hard for anyone to be afraid of him cause no one be afraid of someone that is all nice, sweet and soft like to their brother or that's likely what Bob thinks. Plus Bob likely thinks that Cecil would never let him live it down if he knew the truth.
