Hi,

It's not really a matter of which camera you use, main thing is to be lucky with the weather. Most of the time it is quite hazy here in Dubai and it's only in winter that you can be lucky to have visibilities like this. Burj Khalifa is some 20km away from Palm Jumeirah so even the best camera or lens can not cope if it is a hazy day.
