 Yea when it gets difficult getting around then its no fun anymore
too mild- thats why there is so much snow in places that are usually to cold
to get too much, well thats the case here, one guy who has been here 30 years
told us he has never seen a winter like this here. its +2 today and raining
changing later to freezing minus 30C tomorrow and snow then -16 and sunny by
wednesday WOW more photos I supose LOL!Normal weather here from NOv-april
is between -15 and -50 hahahaha so glad its mild for my first here.Usually
not much snow either, they don't even plow the roads here LOL! snow or not.

Anchorage has already seen almost as much as they normally get in one year. Here, too.. it's just crazy (and more snow falling today - but we've had a week of rain to get most of the roads clear, anyway).

Wow! They don't plow!? Eeek! :D

I know its pretty thick but of course they don't usually
get this much snow and the main roads are so travelled
( they apply salt and sand)
that theres nothing on them, of course today its ice LOL!
all the side roads are a bit more elevated Hahahaha!
a good thing for the milder days the snow goes down a bit
and then it comes back, kind of stays at the same level now LOL!
