Yes, I like my Nikon D90. I think I paid $800 US for it, several years ago. It is undoubtedly less expensive now, because that is always how it goes with digital cameras. At the moment I only have one camera.
I don't know about that price being lower. I was browsing EBay and discouraging myself more and more as time went on. Decent cameras with no lenses, case, or anything seem to be going for no less than $500 or more, and the one set that I saw that included some lenses and an ok looking case was $1000+ -_-
