Yeah they were when I was younger. Because I had quite a few. But then they stopped selling them in toy stores because of so many complaints.
Wow they still sell them In Ireland LOTS of them infact! just bought some the other day! 
Oh jealous! I think in Japan they have or they use to like some big dome place and there was just hundreds upon hundreds! It was my dream to go there haha
